I had a wonderful time standing in line for almost 2 hours to vote on Tuesday. Saw many neighbors, talked to many nice people. We all held each other's places when someone had to step outside to take a phone call or to use the restroom (not outside, we were in the lovely new library). I was especially impressed at how chairs were shared and older folks were offered those chairs. What a great country, where we can exercise our right to cast a ballot, in private, and the police don't come after us. We could all go to bed on Tuesday night, wake up to a new president elect the next morning, and just carry on. What a great country!
"You can't tweeze a gray hair...you know that will kill a midget, come on! And you can't kill a midget, cuz that's where our dreams are kept, in their heads!"
