We just got home from seeing Once, and I am still smiling. This movie is a beautiful, tender story, told over and around the music written and performed by the two leads. Being a jaded moviegoer, I kept waiting for the ugly part, and thankfully, it never came. If you have a chance to go see this movie, do so; if you are disappointed, I will be amazed.Prediction: on Sunday, February 24, 2008, Falling Slowly will win Best Original Song at the 80th Academy Awards. Mark your calendars.
