SPF 85?

So explain this to me:

We spent four days in the Caribbean. Every day, without fail, I applied a sunscreen lotion with an SPF of 45 (for reference, mayonnaise is about a 40), was NEVER in the direct sun for more than 10 minutes, and I still got a nice, pink sunburn.

Why does God want me to burn?

You need more veggies in your diet. Vegetables are God's way of protecting us from the sun. The stuff in green veggies that protects THEM from the sun while they're growing will protect us, too :) Even my super-blonde, usually white (or red)-skinned husband with gorgeous blue eyes is finally getting some color in his skin over the summer. And he's using less and less sunscreen (because I'm afraid of it's toxic/cancerous effects -- way more afraid of sunscreen than I am sun). Anyway -- you need some serious phytonutrients. Start working on them now before next summer. Supplementing will be the best/easiest way.
